𝗕𝗟𝗨𝗘, a Warmblood mare who injured herself severely against a fence pole. Being far along in her pregnancy, her sedation protocol had to be tailored as the wrong anaesthesia can cause decreased oxygen supply to the fetus. With good teamwork and care she made a good recovery. The wound was stitched with dissolvable sutures as to minimize handling.
